[ALUMNI] STUDIO POP-UP

Let’s gather! Let’s connect! Let’s talk. Let’s play.

This invite is limited to Studio Alumni, except for special events. [this is a hidden page on the website]

1. Each Studio Pop-Up will be uniquely designed and carefully moderated by me, Heidi.

2. All Pop-Ups are announced in Alumni Emails and Alumni Facebook Group.

3. Each Pop-Up will be scheduled spontaneously, often last minute.

4. Each Pop-Up is going to flow differently, with fun surprises sprinkled in.

I’m gonna roll with my inspiration! That’s being an artist, right?

Join me and let’s (re)connect!

FULL BIO

Jon Jon Briones has journeyed from the Philippines to the West End to Broadway to Hollywood.  He is a member of the exclusive acting collective that Ryan Murphy has been assembling.  He first appeared in the Murphy-verse in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story and American Horror Story: Apocalypse. Ratched marks the first time he is playing one of the main characters in a Murphy series.
Briones first arrived in the United States in 1997 — which is not too long ago. His English skills were not the best, but like many non-English speaking immigrants, he learned the language from watching TV and movies.
Isa Briones called out her Filipino heritage as a motivator for her work. “My first performance since Star Trek was Crazy Talented Asians,” she said. “Other Asian Americans came up to me to talk about how much it meant to them that I, a Filipino-American actress, was representing in Picard. That truly touched me so much and reminded me just how important shows like Crazy Talented Asians and #Hash(tag) America are to push for the representation of all races and walks of life in the arts.”
