Sol Marina Crespo

Sol Marina grew up in the mountains of Caimito Alto, Puerto Rico and moved to New York to train at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, something she manifested when she was 15 years old. She cut her teeth with various Latino theater companies in the city and became an ensemble member of Pregones/Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre and Flux Theatre Ensemble. Her on-camera work includes: recurring roles on Succession (HBO) and New Amsterdam (NBC), Unsane directed by Steven Soderbergh, Rust, (Showtime), Monsterland (Hulu), Sea Oak (Amazon) and Tell Me A Story (CBS All Access). She has won numerous accolades including, most recently, the 2019 New York Foundation for the Arts Screenwriting Fellowship. Currently, Sol is an actor and writer living in The Boogie Down Bronx and is a local hire in Puerto Rico, Pittsburgh and LA/San Francisco. Bringing joy into the world, one project at a time.
