APPLY FOR YOUTH ACTING COLLECTIVE

Application for Youth Acting Collective

Welcome! This form can be used to apply to the YOUTH ACTING COLLECTIVE or YOUTH/TEEN SUMMER INTENSIVES. Young actors ages 8 through 19 who are professionally auditioning are invited to submit an application on a rolling basis. We will contact you via email with the decision and date of the next registration window. Parents will get an email copy of the actor's application upon submission.

This is NOT required for acceptance or participation. We just want to know how we can accommodate our different learners.
Our members are ages 8-17. Will your child be comfortable in teen-related conversations that might come up in teen scene selections? If not, tell us more.

QUESTIONS FOR THE ACTOR

Briefly describe your most recent acting experiences over the past year or two (including classes or performance).
If yes, what types of projects are you auditioning for? (e.g., film, TV, theater, commercials, dance, musicals, etc.)
Why do you want to act? How did you get started?

VIDEO MATERIALS: INTRO VIDEO

Please make a casual video (on your phone) describing to me a DREAM ROLE that you would like to play. You can film it anywhere: in your room, sitting on the floor, in the kitchen, outside—it doesn't matter! No need to make it professional. We just want to hear you, see you, and learn about your dream role!

Here are some questions to inspire your video!
—What is a favorite Film or TV show that you would LOVE to act? (From any year, doesn't matter if it's recent or past)
—What type of character would you love to play?
—What is a secret that your character has that no one else knows?

You can UPLOAD or LINK your file.

VIDEO MATERIALS: SELF-TAPE

You have two options. Choose one.

OPTION 1: Submit a recent self-tape (about 2 minutes in length).

OPTION 2: Make a self-tape of this scene from the film ALIENS (CLICK HERE FOR SIDES) and submit it.
