Sophomore year of High School, a friend of mind dared me to audition for the school play. Not only did I land one of the lead roles, but I also gained a lifelong passion (so far, *fingers crossed) and a delusional sense of how easy it is to land a part.
But, I've been a storyteller all my life. Whether that through writing (In an attempt to convince my classmates that I was a superhero, I made comic book called Spider-Ben), or through visual media (my first attempt at a short film had a large ensemble of all my action figures and was done in one take... I had yet to learn how to 'cut').
But at the end of the day, one is only as valuable as the people one surrounds themselves with, and I am certainly no exception. When it comes to any project, regardless of importance of role, I am always seeking to make everyone around me better. There is no greater pleasure then when someone comes up to me and says, "Hey. I'd like to work with you again."
