Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York, Maria decided to give California a try. While she was there, Maria attended the University of San Francisco, where she received a B.A. in Performing Arts and Social Justice. Soon after, she found herself pursuing a career in acting and modeling in New York City. She is a recent graduate of the Atlantic Acting School Full Time Conservatory.
