Raised by Chinese and Italian-American parents, I am a multicultural woman (she/her/hers) with roots in Tokyo, Beijing, and Boston. I had a pretty nomadic childhood, so theatre and organized sports kept me grounded and made me the social butterfly I am today. My parents raised me and my sister to be fluent in both English and Mandarin so we could communicate and connect with both sides of our family. I'm passionate about creating work that connects and unites people across different communities.
Currently, I'm adapting my full-length play, HOUSE PARTY - centered around the diasporic experience of growing up in the international community in Beijing, into a TV series.
