Born in New Orleans and raised on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, I made my way to New York City to study acting at NYU Tisch School of the Arts where I trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and spent a semester studying and performing Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. My career began performing classical theatre with a Brooklyn-based Shakespeare theatre company and I continue to hone my on-stage skills with the Freeman Studio and my on-camera skills with Heidi Marshall and the BGB Studio in LA. I believe whole-heartedly in the power of stories to uplift, heal, and to make us feel less alone.
“Empathy is a strange and powerful thing. There is no script. There is no right way or wrong way to do it. It’s simply listening, holding space, withholding judgment, emotionally connecting, and communicating that incredibly healing message of “You’re not alone.” -Brené Brown
