Originally from rural Maine my pursuit of a career on stage has led me to New York City. I began my dance training at the age of five in traditional dance forms as well as commercial dance styles. While a teenager I was a lead in a local film “Those We Leave Behind” which pushed me to further my acting education alongside dance. While earning my BFA at Marymount Manhattan College, I have performed choreography by artists such as Twyla Tharp and Pascal Rioult as well as new works by Sidra Bell, Jenn Freeman, and Jennifer Archibald. I have trained with such companies as Martha Graham, American Ballet Theater, and Complexions and acting with Heidi Marshall. I have performed for The Table of Silence Project with Buglisi Dance as well as at the Joyce Theater for Destiny Rising as a member of the MMC Dance Company. I am an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.
