Jon Lonoff

Recent credits: New York showcases "My Father's Play," directed by Liz Piccolli, "Hidden" ("It is Dr. Victor Jon Lonoff, whose angst is most discernible and prescient. Lonoff’s performance has the passion and depth of one who has been dreading the day when truth will out. " Rachel S. Kovacs, Off-Off Online). Off-Broadway in the drama, "Fringe Deaths,' in comedic roles in two different productions at the Metropolitan Playhouse in New York, and in two musicals, one a workshop, "My Father's Play," and the other "A Christmas Carol" in Connecticut. Featured in a half dozen indie films, "Hourglass," "North to the Future," "Field Mouse", "Cycles", "Benson's Playground" and "Frosty and the Coyotes" which are getting a happy reception on the festival circuit.

I earned a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Tisch School of the Arts and, long ago, appeared in touring companies of "They're Playing Our Song," "Fiddler on the Roof" and "The Lord Loves Music" as well as a variety of regional and stock productions. Over the years, balancing a corporate gig, there have been countless workshops, showcases and concert readings in NYC - plus the requisite appearances on NY-based TV shows such as "The Sopranos", "Law and Order" and various soaps.
