Originally from rural New Hampshire, Adriane moved to NYC to practice her craft at NYU Tisch and meet other makers of all kinds.
In New York, she studied at the Playwrights Horizons Theater School, Stonestreet Film Studios, the Terry Knickerbocker Studio, the Heidi Marshall Studio, and with Maria Dizzia at the Freeman Studio. She devised a hardcore punk workshop with Rachel Chavkin and the TEAM, performed in large-scale immersive theater with Woodshed Collective, and originated the role of Bee in the fiercely feminist sorority drama, Period Sisters.
Then, she met writer/director Miranda Manziano and they started making films together. Velour, currently in post-production, is their third collaboration and Adriane’s first production design credit. She continues to develop original projects and expand her artistic community.
