
D. Malik Beckford is a native New Yorker who daylights as professional actor, director, educator, and producer. A latch-key kid who took himself to auditions and callbacks while navigating a New York City resembling a Hey Arnold! episode. As a youth actor, he voiced the role of Bobby Glover on Nickelodeon's Little Bill, performed on the famous Apollo stage, PaperMill Playhouse, as well as being featured in commercials and film projects. He attended LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts, and later received his BFA in Acting from Rutgers University. Upon completion of his degree, he has appeared on television in Blue Bloods and commercials, directed plays and music videos, and has served as casting and associate producer on an Audible Original. He considers himself an ART-ivist who uses art to promote social change.
