Hello! I am a Bangladeshi American actress based in New York. I venturing into writing and film making and in the post production phase of my short When You Are Ready which is a story about a medical interpreter (me) caught between two worlds as a naive doctor tries to help a Bengali woman who is victim of domestic violence. I have a medical background and discovered acting about ten years ago. My passion is to tell authentic stories about the medical world. I also want show people, especially south east women, that having the courage to do what you love and be who you are is tough and comes at a cost, but it's absolutely worth it.
