
Fabiola Brown is a Puerto Rican actress and filmmaker whose artistic journey began on the ballet stage. A dancer since the age of 10, she moved to Cuba at 16 to spend three years in intensive study at the prestigious Escuela Nacional de Ballet Fernando Alonso.
In 2022, Fabiola transitioned from dance to drama when she was cast in the principal role of Lola in the acclaimed Puerto Rican feature film Esta Isla (This Island). The film made its world premiere at the 2025 Tribeca Festival, where it earned three major awards, including Best New Narrative Director and Best Cinematography. This transformative experience sparked a deep passion for cinema, leading her to earn a degree from the University of Puerto Rico’s film school. Today, she continues to expand her footprint in the film industry as both a performer and creator.
